Raising the Level of Musicianship

We will review the uke-friendly keys, perfect the “calypso” strum, use tablature notation, and further train our playing-by-ear skills. Lots of strumming while singing songs will be practiced in large and small groups. And a few finger-picking patterns will be introduced. Does this all sound like fun or what!? Alumni are always welcome to register.

Prerequisite: A Beginner and Beginner Plus class course and familiarity with the Nashville Numbering System. These will also be reviewed for all learners.

Join our hands‑on Woodworking Class designed for seniors who want to learn a new skill in a fun and supportive setting. Participants will create a beautiful Jewellery Box from scratch, learning the basics of measuring, cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing. No experience is needed—our volunteer monitor provides step‑by‑step guidance throughout the project.

By the end of the course, each participant will take home a handcrafted Jewellery Box they built themselves. It’s a rewarding, creative, and social experience for all skill levels.
