Presented by: David, Mary, Martin, Christina

We are pleased to welcome back our creative writing participants for this ongoing webinar series, where our guest hosts will guide discussions on storytelling, reflection, and personal expression—supporting creativity for writers of all levels.

This inspiring series invites participants to explore the craft of writing through meaningful activities, thoughtful guidance, and shared perspectives. Drawing on rich life experiences and diverse viewpoints, attendees will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of narrative techniques, discover their unique voice, and engage in interactive writing exercises. Whether you are an experienced writer or just starting your journey, this series is designed to nurture your creativity and inspire your continued growth as a writer.

    Meet the Presenters:

    Mary Ndlovu

Mary spent fifty years in Zambia and Zimbabwe raising a family, training teachers for the post-Independence expansion of education, and working for democracy and human rights. She is now trying to understand why all the idealism and goodwill for making a better world have been replaced by hatred and greed.

    Christina Poniecki

Christina worked and travelled in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and North America in the 1970s. She was looking for a deep understanding of herself and humanity in general. Now she continues her learning with inner exploration.

    Martin J.P. Wilkins

Martin has spent the first part of his career in the management of airlines and is still active in consulting to business corporations and is currently authoring a book on accessing the C suite. However, he still finds time to be a passionate advocate for the interests of older adults and is on the Board of Active Aging Canada, Older Adult Advisory Table with the City of Calgary, Clearwater Academy and the board of Lunchbox Theatre.

    David B. Phillips

David has led an interesting life in various countries and travelled widely but he has always sought to draw meaning and wisdom from those experiences. Now he is trying to pass on those lessons learned.

Presented by: Linda Petoit & Sylvia Donely

Join the Calgary Neuropathy Association's Linda Petiot and Sylvia Donley as we discuss what it is like living with peripheral neuropathy and what options are available to you for your own self-management.  We'll talk about common medications, supplements, how the mind-body connection can turn down the volume on neuropathic pain, and other topics to help everyone understand their neuropathy and their role in managing the condition.

    Meet the Presenters:

    Linda Petiot

Linda, the president of the CNA, officially while retired, spends a lot of time using her hard learned skills running  and growing the Calgary Neuropathy Association (CNA). Linda is not a medical professional, but she has spent the past 10 years speaking with people about their neuropathy, their symptoms and the impact it has on their lives.

    Sylvia Donley

Sylvia earned a Masters Degree in Nursing following several accidents and injuries leading to a diagnosis of CRPS-1.  She was President of the CNA for many years and currently remains on the board.  Her focus and passion has always been for Education and Self Management Strategies as she continues to give the presentation "Living With Neuropathy & Chronic Pain"
