    Body Awareness Through Art

    Join us for two gentle, creative workshops designed to help participants explore emotions and self-awareness through simple, expressive art activities. No artistic experience is required.

    Treasure Map to Joy

    What brings you joy—and what stands in the way? Create a personal map with yourself as the starting point and joy as the treasure. Explore the supports and obstacles on your journey, and gain fresh insights through a warm, reflective, and meaningful creative process.

    Therapeutic Touch is a safe, gentle, holistic healing practice that focuses on restoring balance in all aspects of the human energy field, body, mind, emotions, and spirit. It supports the body’s ability to heal itself.

    Have you experienced the death of someone close to you, are looking for support? Our 9 - week group counseling program will help you rediscover yourself after loss and learn skills to start enjoying and loving your best life again. This in-person group counseling program helps you heal and reconnect after loss in a safe, empathetic setting.

    Date: Thursdays, October 8 – December 3,  2026

    Time: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM

    Location: Kerby Centre, Room 317 (1133 7 Ave S.W., Calgary)

    Facilitators: City University Master of Counselling Interns

    **Please note that you will fill out our intake/consent forms for these classes**

    Important Note: During your first session, we will conduct an assessment to better understand your needs and goals. This will help us determine whether group counselling is the right fit for you. Your comfort and well-being are our highest priorities, and this assessment ensures we can provide the best support possible. If group counselling is not suitable for you at this time, we will provide alternative resources tailored to your needs, and your payment will be fully refunded.

    Senior's Equine Program at Roarr

    Join us as the Unison Wellness Centre collaborates with The ROARR Senior Equine Program to offer a unique and heartwarming experience that combines the joy of equine interaction with community support for seniors. The program ensures that participating seniors engage in therapeutic equine activities and receive a delicious, warm meal provided by Roarr (Robinson Outreach at RiverCross Ranch). It's an opportunity for seniors to connect with these gentle creatures, fostering emotional bonds and creating memorable moments, all while enjoying nutritious, chef-prepared meals in a welcoming and supportive environment.

    Maximum People: 17

    Fee: Member: $50

    Non-member: $85

    Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2026

    Time: 10:45 AM – 1:30 PM (Leave Roarr at 1:30 pm to get to Kerby approximately 2:15 PM) 

    Transportation: Bus leaves Unison at Kerby Centre, 1133 7th Avenue Southwest, at 11 am to arrive at Roarr at 11:30 am.

    Cut-off Date: Friday, October 9, 2026.
