REGISTRATION BEGINS August 4, 2026

Raising the Level of Musicianship

We will review the uke-friendly keys, perfect the “calypso” strum, use tablature notation, and further train our playing-by-ear skills. Lots of strumming while singing songs will be practiced in large and small groups. And a few finger-picking patterns will be introduced. Does this all sound like fun or what!? Alumni are always welcome to register.

Prerequisite: A Beginner and Beginner Plus class course and familiarity with the Nashville Numbering System. These will also be reviewed for all learners.

2026 Kerby memberships are available now through the Active Aging Department Membership Desk.
